The Cuban Missile Crisis
From October 14, 1962 -----> to -----> October 28, 1962
President John F. Kennedy notified Americans about the presence of missiles in Cuba. He explained his decisions of forming a naval shield. The people were frightened that a war would start up with nuclear bombs. J.F.K. secretly made an agreement to remove the bombs in Turkey with Nikita Khrushchev, leader of the Soviet Union. Throughout the tension between the U.S. And Cuba in 1962, it started a conflict which caused many outbreaks that still are happening today.
